This position is for an experienced artist and not an apprenticeship.
Existing clientele preferred, but not required
Responsibilities

Create high quality tattoos
-
Provide exceptional customer service
-
Build and maintain your own client base. We are not a walk in studio, but Missi will teach you and support you in how to find your clients, and fill your books!

Self promotion and marketing
-
Maintaining up to date licensing and training required by the shop (blood borne pathogens and first aid)

Maintaining an organized and accurate schedule

Responsible for purchasing inks, needles, equipment and any special items not supplied by the shop

Attend and participate in shop meetings and functions
Requirements:
-
Minimum 1 year professional tattoo experience
-
Having existing clientele is not required but a huge plus

Clean, solid portfolio

Interest and willingness to learn and grow in your craft

Ability to create and keep a schedule

Blood Borne Pathogens and first aid Certification

Drug-Free

Active on social media, and/or willing to learn

Punctual- Being here when your client gets here, is pretty important to us. But also, we think showing up where and when you say you will is cool.

A self-starter- meaning you love tattooing and you want to do cool tattoos and are excited and motivated to do things that will help grow your career in tattooing, without needing someone else to MAKE you do it against your will

Strong Interpersonal skills with ability to work well with your crew- What I mean by that is: Be able to get along with us! And just be able to talk through differences and difficult things in order to problem solve like an adult. So communication skills, empathy, and basic reasoning are a bonus

Commitment to providing a high level of customer service- The ability to communicate with clients well, and make sure they feel heard and understood, so you can give them the best experience possible.

Passion for making our clients feel cared for and comfortable-Our clients are everything to us, and we go above and beyond here to make sure they feel welcome, comfortable, and confident they made the right choice.

Ability to take and give constructive criticism- we frequently collaborate, get each others options, advice , and feedback so being able to participate in that with us, will not only help you grow, it helps us grow as a crew as well!

Desire to work in a collaborative environment- Like I said, we collaborate a lot and talk through ideas, and designs with each other, and would be so excited to add another amazing mind to the conversation!

Comfortable working in an open-area shop environment- We all work together in one big open room, so we frequently have one big conversation and we love to hang out and laugh and have a good time. We do have a private space for clients needing more privacy, or when we are feeling overwhelmed and need a brain break. But, typically, the 3 of us are always toghether . So if you don't enjoy group environments, this might not be the place for you.
