ABOUT
My name is Vicky, I’m 26 and I’m a tattoo apprentice at Blue Bird Tattoo Studio in Hanover, PA! Outside of tattooing I’m a realism charcoal/graphite artist, and when I tattoo recently I’ve been loving to do black and grey realism with cartoony color mashups, cottage corek, witchy & nature tattoos. Ever since I was a kid I knew I loved art and wanted to make a career out of it. I started realism work when I was in middle school and haven’t looked back ever since!
Aside from art I love to read (I love a good spicy romance or a thriller, but no horror or else I won’t sleep for weeks) my favorite contemporary author is Haruki Murakami and I just love reading translated Japanese works in general
I also love being outdoors. I love camping, hiking, and last summer I was on my way to getting my AFF certification (solo skydiving) and I’ll hopefully be able to pick that up in the future. That shit’s EXPENSIVE.
The love of my life is my dog, Quest. She’s an Australian shepherd and she’s my best friend. I take her everywhere I can with me and she’s definitely my spoiled girl.
Overall I love talking to people and creating a fun environment for my clients. I love getting to know people and hearing their stories, and I strive to not only give clients good tattoos but also to give them a good experience as well.
