Hi! I'm Missi Blue. I have been tattooing for 20 years now! I'm known for my bright, bold colors and for doing pet portraits. I grew up in a small town in Florida, about 30 minutes from the beach, and moved up to Maryland on a hope and a prayer that I'd make it on my own as a professional artist. I've been here permanently now for 10 years.
In 2020 (just one month before covid) I opened Blue Bird Tattoo, which is constantly growing and evolving I couldn't be more proud of what the Blue Bird Team and I have built!
I am a mom of two TEENAGERS (how?) and an 8 year old French Bulldog named Baxter, who's obsessed with me.
On weekends you can usually find me outdoors. I love camping, hiking, rollerskating, and going crabbing in the Bay with my husband, Dylan. My current obsessions are scuba diving, and snowboarding. My love language is music and I've been trying to catch as many local punk shows as I can lately.
I love to play guitar and sing even though I am not good at it lol. I love to create in other ways too like painting , sculpting, making merch and just creating in general. I guess I'm sort of a collector of hobbies.
I love learning and challenging myself, and I'm currently in Business School online.
I just love tattooing. I have the best job in the world!
